Pound Dog Copywriting was established in 1990 under our principal's name, Wendy Wander. Originally from Syrcause, NY, Wendy is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a B.A. in Radio-Television. Her career began when she became the youngest producer hired at WFTV-Channel 9 (ABC) as a copywriter/producer. After a year-long sentence in the corporate world, Wendy struck out on her own in 1990 and never looked back. Recognized for her copywriting by the 4th District Advertising Federation and the Creative Club of Orlando, Wendy writes comfortably for many industries, from hospital to hospitality, retail to recruitment. Now known as Wendy Wander Mize, she runs Pound Dog Copywriting from her home in Central Florida. The original Pound Dog, Chumley, is romping in dog heaven. Wendy and family adopted Murphy, a rescued Golden Retreiver, in 2006.
